![]() After a short profiling there shouldn’t be any demand for a higher delay since my measurements aren’t higher than 0.5 DE average and 5 DE peak. What I learned so far and took out of the equation: ![]() Color-Gamut: rec709 (could also be set to: Adobe RGB, sRGB, DCI-P3) Brightness: adjusted in the calibration process Color-temp.: User (RGB bars adjusted in the calibration process) My Monitor is set to the following settings - are they correct?.Are my settings in Displa圜AL correct (see screenshots)?.I went for the „BenQ SW270C by 4KM (i1 Pro).ccss“ which does not match my calibration device, but gave me best results after all. I use a „xrite colorchecker display plus“, my system profiler calls it a „i1Displa圓“. Which Spectral Correction suits my monitor best.Although I read a lot about the calibration process, I’ve several questions and I’m just not sure, weather my Display is calibrated right: ![]() So far my results are ok-ish and the validation usually gives reasonable DEs. The monitor is connected via a BM Ultrastudio Monitor 3G (Thunderbolt to HDMI) to my Macbook. Each black square is distinguishable. So I’m trying to calibrate my BenQ SW270C with Displa圜AL and the described „3D LUT creation workflow for Resolve“. The black levels look good on this website. I think calibration has improved but the colours still look slightly oversaturated but according to Displa圜AL when I run the brief measurement test, the RGB readings are correct. I don't really have a great understanding of the different modes but I understand Adobe 1998 can display a wider array of colours. I shoot photography on my DSLR and save in camera as Adobe 1998 RAW files. Apparently the monitor doesn't have an sRGB mode. I do Photoshop editing and photography (as a hobby) so it's important that my monitor is reasonably correct. So is it correct that I can't calibrate my monitor in Displa圜AL with HDR enabled? Since Displa圜AL will ask me to adjust the RGB sliders which I cannot do as the sliders would be disabled.ģ) Are there any settings on the monitor, within Windows or Radeon software that I should definitely have enabled or disabled? The response time is set to fast. These two settings are independant of each other. Again, enabling this disables the RGB and brightness sliders. I also have an HDR setting within Windows display settings. When enabling this, the brightness and RGB sliders are disabled on the monitors OSD. It's not very good but it apparently offers a slight improvement compared to SDR. Do I need this software running constantly? As I believe Windows is running this colour profile as default (it shows the profile as default)Ģ) The monitor has HDR support. A few questions:ġ) Displa圜AL is running in the background and present in the taskbar. After 5 minutes or so the calibration process had completed so I loaded the profile and set it as my default. Is this correct? Then when I click the calbrate button, Displa圜AL asked me to adjust the RGB and brightness levels which I did with the montiors OSD. I've left the monitor settings on default, turned off the lights, closed the curtains and selected "LCD White LED family (AC, LG, Samsung)" in the correction option of Displa圜AL in accordance to this link. I'm not exactly sure if I have calibrated correctly. Usually I use the X-Rite software but I keep reading about people using Displa圜AL so I've installed this instead. My MSI MAG274QRF-QD 27" IPS monitor has just arrived and I have an X‑Rite i1Display Pro calibration device which I bought a few years back.
